Magictail HooMagic Trolling Lures
Magictail HooMagic Trolling Lures
Tournament Proven: The Magictail HooMagic Trolling Lure
Trusted by champions and proven on the canyon grounds, the HooMagic is the ultimate offshore bullet head. Designed to mimic a distressed baitfish, this lure has been instrumental in winning millions of dollars in tournament prize money over the last decade.
The HooMagic Advantage:
- Oversized Bug Eyes: Creates a realistic, high-contrast profile and unique action that triggers aggressive strikes from Tuna and Mahi.
- Glow-Painted Heads: High-visibility finish that shines in the murky depths and low-light conditions of the early morning bite.
- Heavy-Duty Tracking: Engineered to stay submerged and track perfectly at speeds up to 12 knots.
- Versatile Rigging: Best paired with a natural ballyhoo for a tournament-winning presentation.
Technical Specifications:
- Available Weights: 1oz, 2oz, 3oz, 6oz
- Target Species: Yellowfin, Bluefin, Bigeye Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo
- Ideal Setup: Rigged with ballyhoo or a Ron Z tail
Pro-Staff Tip: The 3oz HooMagic is our most versatile head. It’s heavy enough to stay down in a 7-knot troll but light enough to dance on the surface during a turn.
